A Family-Owned Company Since 1990
Henderson Properties began in 1990 and grew from a small office in Phil and Shelly Henderson's home. Over the years, the company expanded into a broader real estate organization, bringing rental management, property maintenance, and home buying and selling services together.
Our roots are in Charlotte, and our work now reaches communities across North and South Carolina. Albemarle is part of that story: a local office and community relationships supported by the experience of the wider Henderson organization.

The Stanly4Rent Connection
In 2026, Henderson Properties expanded its presence in Albemarle and Stanly County by acquiring Stanly4Rent. That expansion brought together Stanly4Rent's established relationships with local owners, residents, and vendors and Henderson's broader property management and real estate resources.
We recognize that a change in management is about more than a new company name. Owners need to know who is looking after their rental, and residents need to know where to turn with questions. Building on those relationships means providing clear information about the team and resources supporting each property.
